Privacy Policy
All data collected is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation Act 2018.
Oh So Swimple will only ever collect necessary data. Customers will be asked to provide the following information through our trusted provider jotform in order to ensure safe and effective lessons:
• Name of Child
• Childs DOB
• Name of Parent/Guardian
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Emergency Contact Name
• Emergency Contact Number
• Childs medical/ additional needs
• Permission to use photographs or video imagery in advertisements
Oh So Swimple will never share any data except for legal and safeguarding requirements.
Data is stored for upto 12 months after your last lesson with us. From time to time we may send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information you may find interesting using the email address you have provided.
We use the following providers who we trust but have no control over:
• Bookwhen
• Stripe
• Jotform
• Yahoo
• Zoho Invoice
These providers all have their own Privacy Policies in place.
Booking Terms and Conditions
Lessons are paid for in a block booking. You can join at any time and the remainder of classes will be paid for.
Missed lessons cannot be refunded or transferred under any circumstances.
A catch up class may be offered if there is availability.
The block/single booking may be cancelled upto 14 working days prior to the event starting but will incur a £25 (£5 for babys 1st twilight swim) cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after this time.
Lessons may be cancelled by us last minute due to pool issues - under these circumstances a refund/additional class will be issued.
Lessons may be cancelled due to teacher absense. As much notice as possible will be given - under these circumstances a refund/additional class will be issued.
We are not responsible for travel expensives.
Upon booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Lesson Code of Conduct
Customers should aim to arrive no longer than 10 minutes before the lesson start time and leave 15 minutes after lesson finish time to help ease congestion in the changing rooms.
Shoes must be removed or blue covers worn before entering the changing room.
Please place belongings neatly to allow room for other pool users. Belongings are left at owners risk. Bring valuables poolside.
Please make sure you and your child have used the toilet before the lesson starts.
One adult must enter the water with the child in our Parent and Child classes. One adult must remain poolside in our independent lessons for the child attending. This adult is responsible at all times for that child in and around the pool, the changing areas, the school building and car park.
Oh So Swimple and the pool facility will not be held liable to any loss, damage or injury while on site.
Whilst waiting for your lesson to start please keep noise to a minimum to help avoid distractions to others in their lesson.
For parent and child classes, One additional adult can spectate.
Siblings can sit poolside but must have an additional adult to supervise them. If they cannot sit quietly and remain seated they will be asked to leave and spectate from the window.
Do not enter the pool until you have been invited to do so by the teacher.
You must walk not run poolside and in the changing rooms.
Remove any jewellery

A swim nappy and nappy cover must be worn if under 3 years old or those not fully toilet trained (please see our nappy policy)
No food or drink other than water to be consumed pool side or in the changing rooms.
A tshirt and shorts can be worn over swimsuit if you wish.
Once your lesson has finished please vacate the pool area immediately.
Please follow the lessons planned activities. If your child becomes upset and doesn't enjoy a particular activity please wait until we move onto the next section.
We reserve the right to cancel a participants block booking without refund due to any incident/ inappropriate behaviour during lessons

Nappy Policy
We operate a strict double nappy policy for all children under the age of 3 years old or not fully toilet trained.
A disposable swimming nappy must be worn with a snug fitting reusable nappy cover over the top. We recommend the Splash About brand. Other brands are available, please make sure they have tight waist and leg bands to prevent leaks.

Health and Safety Policy
If you or your child have any of the following please stay home and do not attend lessons:
Vomitting - Do not attend for at least 48hrs after the last bout of vomitting
Diarrhoea - Do not attend for at least 48hrs after the last bout of diarrhoea
Fever - Do not attend until temperature has returned to normal without the need of paracetamol.
Ear infections - Do not attend until you have completed course of treatment.
Common Infectious Illnesses:
Chickenpox - Do not attend until ALL spots have scabbed over AND fallen off naturally. In most cases this process takes 2 weeks.
Even though we know you are no longer contagious once spots have scabbed over, there are other things we need to consider:
• Chlorine can be harsh on healing skin causing excessive itching
• The perception and comfort of other swimmers
Hand foot and mouth - Is contagious for 7 - 10 days. Do not attend until blisters have healed and temperature has returned to normal without the need of paracetamol.
Covid 19 - Do not attend. Please follow covid 19 guidelines.
Strep Throat - Do not attend until antibiotics have been in taken for at least 48 hrs. Only return when the swimmer is feeling strong enough.
Scarlet Fever - Do not attend until at least 48hrs after starting antibiotic treatment. Only return when the swimmer is feeling strong enough.
Contagious Skin Conditions:
Impetigo - Do no attend until you have completed a course of antibiotics and your skin has healed.
Common Skin Conditions:
Eczema - Usually safe to swim. Do not attend if you have a severe flare up.
Open wounds or cuts - Do not attend with open wounds and cuts especially those from surgery or peircings until they are fully healed.
